ESP32-C6 pinout & GPIO reference
Espressif’s first Wi-Fi 6 + Thread/Zigbee combo chip and the default pick for Matter smart-home devices. GPIO 0–6 all carry ADC channels, while GPIO 24–30 are reserved for SPI flash — on in-package-flash variants those seven pins simply disappear.
Data verified:2026-10-20 · Cross-checked against Espressif datasheets and the ESP-IDF programming guide. Always confirm with the official document before finalizing a design.

Traps that cost you a board respin
- GPIO 24–30 are normally used for SPI flash and not recommended elsewhere; on SiP-flash variants they are not fanned out at all.
- GPIO 12/13 default to USB Serial/JTAG; the driver disables USB-JTAG if you claim them as GPIO.
- Strapping pins are GPIO4 / 5 / 8 / 9 / 15, with GPIO8 and GPIO9 selecting the boot mode.
- JTAG lands on GPIO4 (MTMS) / 5 (MTDI) / 6 (MTCK) / 7 (MTDO), taken over by USB-JTAG by default.
- GPIO10 / GPIO11 are not fanned out on SiP-flash variants; GPIO14 is not fanned out on non-SiP variants.
